June 5, 2010 is almost here.  Make plans now to come enjoy this time with old friends.  The day is planned as: Social:  4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the gymnasium at the former Ochelata High School. Dinner:  6:30 p.m. in the same location as the social, Ochelata High School Gymnasium.  To register please fill out the form coming in the mail soon and return NO LATER than May 26th to the address on the form. Business Meeting: Immediately following dinner.  An agenda will be available at the reunion. Pickin’ and Grinnin’/Just Visitin’: So much talent has passed through the halls of OHS that an invitation is being extended to anyone who would like to join in a jam session during the afternoon social and/or after the evening event at the school gym.  Bring your musical instruments, strong voices, and tall tales.  The committee is working on the possibility of some form of evening entertainment in addition to the jam session. *********************************************** The time for the afternoon social has been changed to begin at 4 pm and will once again be held in the gymnasium at the former Ochelata High School site.  We do hope everyone will enjoy this afternoon event.  Beverages and snacks will be available at the social.   The OLD school building will be unlocked and available for touring.  Take a moment, and walk through those halls, and let your mind wander back to “the way it was”.  As a way to keep our alumni association funded, we will have a silent auction this year.  If you would like to donate a themed basket please bring it by 4 pm to the gymnasium.  Some ideas would be Ochelata High School basket, movie basket, college basket, automotive, yada yada yada.   The Ochelata High School Alumni Association’s Reunion 2010 dinner is being catered by Pawhuska Hometown Foods.  The dinner will consist of chicken fried steak, grilled chicken, baked potato, green beans, salad, cobbler, and coffee or tea.  The cost for dinner will be $12.50 per person.  We MUST receive your pre-paid reservation by May 26th.     All dinner attendees MUST have a pre-paid reservation.  Please registration form as soon as possible. This year’s Ochelata High School Alumni Association honorees will be  those graduating in 1929, 1930, 1939, 1940, 1949, 1950, 1959, 1960, and 1969.   After dinner we will discuss this website, receive a financial update,  honor graduates, talk about  plans and ideas for our next reunion,  elect officers, and take new business from the floor.      SEE YOU JUNE 5, 2010 !!!
